Welcome to “Recovery at Work” – where workplace transformation begins! Dive into our resource, “A Mental Health Stigma-Free Workplace Toolkit,” guiding employers to reduce stigma around mental health and substance use disorders. Complementing this, our “Recovery at Work Video Series,” aims to empower individuals in recovery while also educating employers on creating recovery-ready workplaces. Explore these two resources to create a workplace where everyone’s well-being is a priority.
A Mental Health Stigma-Free Workplace Toolkit
Employers must prioritize a healthy work environment, fostering positivity and loyalty. This involves creating a safe physical space and a stigma-free workplace culture. This toolkit guides employers in destigmatizing mental health and substance use disorders, enhancing awareness, and supporting timely treatment and recovery.
Obesity and the Workplace Employer Workbook
Create a healthier, more inclusive workplace.
Obesity is one of the most pressing yet overlooked challenges impacting today’s workforce. Our Obesity and the Workplace Employer Workbook equips organizations with the tools, data, and strategies needed to address obesity as a chronic disease, reduce weight-related stigma, and support employee well-being through inclusive policies, culture change, and benefit design.
Whether you’re just starting or ready to enhance your workplace efforts, this resource will guide you in building a supportive, stigma-free environment that improves health outcomes and boosts organizational performance.
Indiana Workplace Substance Use and Recovery Survey
The Indiana Chamber and Wellness Council of Indiana are committed to assisting employers and their workers through its workforce mental health and substance use disorder programming, training and education. The goals of this initiative include increased education and awareness; stigma reduction; prevention; and employer engagement. We are working to reduce the prevalence of substance use disorder (SUD) and support those in need. The Indiana Workplace Substance Use and Recovery report is the result of the third iteration of this process and assesses additional workplace attitudes and practices relating to the social determinants of health, as well as mental health and substance use disorder.
Recovery at Work Video Series
This video series aims to assist in increased access, how to navigate resources to gain and maintain employment for individuals in recovery and/or with justice involvement.
